Was ist Palmarosaöl?

Palmarosaöl ist das durch Wasserdampfdestillation gewonnene ätherische Öl von Cymbopogon martini. Der INCI-Name ist Cymbopogon Martini Oil (gelegentlich Herb Oil oder Leaf Oil).
CosIng führt es als Duftstoff. Typisch ist ein hoher Geraniol-Anteil; Geraniol kann extra deklariert werden. Es ist nicht Palmitic Acid und kein Triglycerid. Kein Arzneimittel.
