Was ist Stearyl Alcohol?
C18-Fettalkohol, nicht Ethanol
Stearyl Alcohol ist Octadecan-1-ol, ein gesättigter C18-Fettalkohol. In der INCI steht Stearyl Alcohol. Cetyl Alcohol ist C16, Cetearyl Alcohol das C16/C18-Gemisch, Alcohol der Ethanol.
CosIng führt es als Emolliens, Emulsionsstabilisator, Trübungsmittel und Viskositätsregler. Es gibt Cremes Stand, ist aber kein Waschalkohol. Kein Arzneimittel.
